The other posters provided much more of a direct link, but have you tried "Trader's Little Helper"? It is the simplest, IMHO, and just google it to find and enjoy!

Tigerbolt posted that link and I've already tried it. I guess I haven't quite figured it out yet as it stop converting about half way through the show for some reason. So I'm still trying to figure out how to turn it into Wav and not Mp3.

Sorry, my brain isn't working too well today - I'm suffering from severe nicotine withdrawal ... 3 days now!

Thanks for the links everyone!

Yikes! Hang in there; always good to do (quit).

TLH, I find, is the easiest...when it stops, it is because of a corrupt file, in the few cases it happened with me (error message comes up). I can walk you thru it if you want to go that tedious route here, but someone may say I am sidling up to you or what not.

It isn’t free, but I use Switch Plus audio converter software, from NCH software.
There is a free trail version. Bought it bundled with some other programs at a reasonable price and after giving them all a good run for the money I can report great satisfaction. WavePad has been especially handy.

Thanks tigerbolt for the great tutorial - I have things working now although I have to add the files manually.

I really did have a corrupt file before - and I thought it was me doing something wrong ;-)

Thanks again

As a smoker who has zero willpower I am so glad for you! Don't start again. It is a horrible habit.

Thanks for the software tips and the 'quitting smoking' well-wishes.

I am hanging in there but if anyone speaks to me in the wrong tone I just might beat the crap out of the them ;-) ! At least that's how I feel right now - perhaps I'd better lock myself away for a few days ....

I managed to quit because a friend quit at the same time and we kept encouraging each other. If you know anyone else trying to give it up help each other out. It's really worth the effort.

That, too, shall pass. It is worth the effort, and the "suffering". Although I never got the least bit hostile. That's my story. I'm sticking to it. And thank goodness my wife doesn't post here.;)
